this is very old, an original cold store for food - I’m going to assume the wire has been re-done at some point because of its age it would be considerably more rusty than it is. this would look fab as a bedside table. shelf in middle and catch to close door. could also be used in a pantry to store veg / pots or in a bathroom to hold essentials.
